The Wolf at Our Door We the People of India have the Corona Wolf at our door. It has come all the way from Wuhan to devastate us. There is nowhere to hide. We must fight this battle alone – as individuals, as localities, as communities, as states and India, as a country. One for all and all for one - in true fashion as a billion plus Musketeers. I, the Indian will have to fight for India my country. India, my country will have to fight for me. In fighting this virus from China we are fighting for each other to free ourselves from a pestilence, gain Strategic Independence and Global Leadership simultaneously. In fact whether we are Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Parsi or Sikh or whatever else, we have no choice. Whether we are from BJP, Congress, DMK, Trinamool or AAP or whatever, is a matter of irrelevance. The Search for Alternate Truth The Chinese Government has done a stupendous job in containing the COVID19 in their Country. They have saved a lot of lives and need to be complimented for that. They mounted a military type of response and mobilized all their resources to contain the outbreak and deal with it. However there are huge gaps between the actuality and what is being projected now. They say that truth is the first casualty in any war. It has been no different in the current war against the Chinese/ Wuhan COVID. While the world is fighting a war against the disease thrust upon it by China, wittingly or unwittingly, there is a serious effort on the part of China to search and paint an alternate truth. The motives of this alternate truth are reflected in the efforts by an authoritarian system which seeks to control its people and the rest of the world. Covid 19   is causing a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions and is roiling people worldwide. As per reports the peak of this pandemic seems to be still ahead. Its outcomes might be even more disastrous than what we have seen so far. The world is on the cusp of change notwithstanding the human misery trail the virus leaves behind. Everyone is predicting a contraction of the global economy and evidence suggests that it will be so. However along with the economic and humanitarian upheaval, there will be geopolitical changes and realignments. In fact the process has already begun.
